Wearing sandals in the Fall

I am a Birkenstocks lover.  They are really comfortable.  And yes, I'm one of those people who have been known to wear them with socks...

Hey, I was on the trendy side of things way back when...

That's me on the right in the picture.  I remember this day.  My parents wanted to take a drive in the country and see the Fall leaves.  Those aren't Birki's that I'm wearing.  But I was on the cutting edge of fashion wearing my socks with my sandals!
