Farnsworth House

The Edith Farnsworth House Plano, Illinois

This house was designed by Ludwig Mies van der Rohe.  Built in 1951 for Doctor Edith Farnsworth it is one of the most beautiful modern homes built.  The spirit and emotion it evokes when you step inside has to be experienced.  When you see it for yourself you will understand Mies' vision.
