"I like old people when they have aged well. And old houses with an accumulation of sweet honest living in them are good. And the timelessness that only the passing of Time itself can give to objects both inside and outside the spirit is a continuing reassurance."
I love old buildings whether it be homes, barns, or what have you. I think they are beautiful. And where other people might see a lost cause I always manage to see potential.
These were just a couple of photos I took while in the Smoky Mountains of North Carolina this Fall.
The first photo is just the side of an old Southern house that had been empty for many years. I like the way the light falls and the trees next to the well-weathered clapboards.
I love the barn with the angled siding.
