New York Tribune Building built 1875 by
Richard Morris Hunt.  Nine additional stories were added to this building between 1903 and 1905.  It was 260 feet tall.

This beautiful building was demolished in
1966.

"The Tribune has vanished almost without a trace, and barely a whimper."   Christopher Gray, The New York Times
